So you’ve read all about Bryan Johnson’s diet, and follow the Attias and the Hubermans of the world. You are dialed in on supplements, working on improving your sleep and make sure you get enough time under tension at the gym.

This is all well and good. You probably feel great, trying to take care of your health. You have a decent chance of delaying some aspects of aging. And this might turn out to be very important - a somewhat longer life could mean that new longevity treatments arrive just in time for you to benefit.

However, it's not sufficient to think this alone will drastically extend your life. Assuming these practices will lead to radical life extension is a mistake. They will not. And about those longevity treatments—accelerating their development requires a broader adoption of a more ambitious mindset.

We need many more people to, as Steve Jobs once taught us, think different.
